Hope + Help for the Grieving Widow

podcast interview with Lisa Appelo
God made us in such a way that we will always miss that relationship. The love never goes away. It's just the strangest thing with grief, because the love doesn't end. The day you lose somebody, you love them just as much as you ever did, but there's no way to express that love to them—they're not there. And so you're learning to live with that love, but without the loved one. And we never really get to a point where we can say it doesn't affect us.
